Dozens log in during the news to talk about the stories I’m reporting. The instant feedback is wild!

And I’m able to give chatters the CW LIVE CHAT ADVANTAGE. I always feed our live chatters nuggets of breaking news and behind the scenes drama, the traditional TV viewer never gets.

I like to think of CW LIVE CHAT as “my baby.” I dreamed it up one weekend, tested it out the next week, and have been chatting with the folks at home, since Feb of 2008.

What makes it so cool, is we’re leading the way - one of the first newscasts in the nation where the solo news anchor hosts the chat room while the show unfolds.

It’s nuts. Plenty of multi-tasking and juggling, but I LOVE it! Our chatters are hilarious. They come up with the funniest stuff.  And when the story or issue is serious, as it so often is, my chatters are all over it!
